The Last Rain of the Cretaceous

Last biological crisis dates back to 65 million years ago , and marks the transition from the Cretaceous to Paleogene. She is known to have caused the rapid extinction of the dinosaurs .
Two hypotheses prevail among scientists trying to explain the rapid changes in the environment to cause this biological crisis: a meteorite impact and exceptional volcanism.
Dinosaurs are a fascinating subject for me and imagine the magnitude of the disaster that prevailed then, on Earth, inspired me to create this image.
